The RA-50 is a GPS-L1 signal repeater system for transmitting GPS signals from the outdoors to indoors, especially in vehicles. An external antenna is installed on the roof of the vehicle. The signal is routed via a cable to an indoor antenna and transmitted. This makes it possible for GPS receivers in the vehicle to receive an improved signal. Installation Notice: The external antenna must be mounted as centrally as possible on the outside of the car roof. It is important that the signal emitted by the indoor antenna is not "seen" by the outdoor antenna – otherwise there will be positive feedback and the system will not work. The cable can be inserted through the front door opening and routed into the interior via the A-pillar. The indoor antenna is then inserted into the cigar lighter base, and the system is already in operation.
