Linear Flash

T&O Electronic Solutions supplies PCMCIA linear flash cards from the manufacturer Pretec.
Linear flash cards contain flash devices without a controller. The flash modules are addressed directly.

  • It is important to know exactly which chip is in the card, and whether the card is with or without attribute memory.
  • The cards can be supplied for either 0°C ~ 70°C or with extended temperature range -40°C ~ +85°C.
  • To read or write these linear flash cards from your PC, it is best to use an Omnidrive USB LF Drive.
  • Since 2017, no PCMCIA cards have been produced that can automatically switch between 8 and 16 bits
