Linear Flash cards contain flash chips without a controller. The flash chips are directly addressed.
WARNING! Linear PCMCIA cards can automatically switch between 8-bit mode and 16-bit mode according to the standard. However, from August 2017, only cards that are either 16-bit OR 8-bit capable will be manufactured. For more information, please contact us.
It is important to know exactly which chip is in the card and whether the card has attribute memory or not. The cards can be supplied either for 0°C ~ 70°C or with an extended temperature range of -40°C ~ +85°C.
To read or write these Linear Flash cards from a PC, it is best to use an Omnidrive USB LF drive.
