PCMCIA Cards (also known as PC Cards) are robust memory cards with 68 pins that comply with the PCMCIA / JEIDA standard. The PCMCIA SRAM variant contains linearly addressed SRAM up to 8MB. T&O Display Solutions supplies PCMCIA SRAM cards with capacities ranging from 256KB to 8MB. The cards are 3,3mm thick.
SRAM cards require internal batteries to maintain data. We now only supply cards with REPLACEABLE button cells. A small write-protect switch on the side prevents unwanted data loss.
PCMCIA Type I Form Factor
- Available WITH attribute memory (P/N S6…) or WITHOUT attribute memory (P/N SN…)
- Attribute memory access time: 150ns (Max.)
- Operating voltage: 5V ± 5%
- Power consumption: Active state: 120 mA (max), Standby state: 0.4 mA (max)
- Operating temperature range: Standard (0°C ~ +70°C), Industrial (-20°C ~ +85°C), or Extended (-40°C ~ +85°C)
- Since 2017, no PCMCIA cards have been produced that can automatically switch between 8 and 16 bits
To read the 16-bit SRAM card, the Omnidrive USB Drive is required.
