The SM-76 is an external GPS L1 antenna with high gain and low power consumption, suitable for many GPS receivers. The SM-76 consists of a high-performance patch antenna connected to a preamplifier and housed in a flat, waterproof housing. Power for the preamplifier comes from the receiver via the RF line and should be 2.5V to 5.5V.
Due to its small dimensions and robustness, the SM-76 is suitable for a variety of applications.
- Very compact & sensitive
- Robust construction
- Small, flat housing
- IP67 weatherproof
- Low power consumption
- Screw & magnetic attachment
- Excellent temperature stability
- Low noise level
Installation Notice:
The external antenna must be mounted on the outside of the car roof, as centrally as possible. It is important that the signal emitted by the internal antenna is not "seen" by the external antenna - otherwise there will be positive feedback and the system will not work. The cable can be inserted through the front door opening and routed over the A-pillar into the interior. The internal antenna is then inserted into the cigarette lighter socket and the system is ready to use.
