OmniDrive USB2 CF/SD PCB ET is an external drive for a variety of storage media. The device offers two separate slots for this purpose:

  • CF Card Interface for the use of CompactFlash Cards
  • SD Card Interface for direct access to Secure Digital Cards, Secure Digital High Capacity Cards, MultiMediaCards, and SIEMENS Micro Memory Cards for SIMATIC® (system-dependent)

The compact aluminum housing provides optimal protection for the device and card. Power is supplied via the USB connection, alternatively also via a power supply unit.

OmniDrive USB2 CF/SD PCB ET is based on a flexible design specifically tailored to industrial requirements:

Application

OmniDrive USB2 CF/SD PCB ET is a Professional Drive. This makes it ideal as a fast, robust drive for the listed storage media. The proprietary device drivers enable the use of the proven Professional Software Tools.

The Windows tool PC Card Manager offers extensive options for editing storage media:

  • Flexible formatting utility
  • Inspect and repair tool
  • Reading serial numbers and firmware revisions

The universal application interface (API) enables direct access to storage media from custom Windows applications via a DLL. For this purpose, the additional product PC Card SDK (Software Development Kit) is available.
