Description

OmniDrive USB2 LF/SD is an external drive for a variety of storage media. The device offers two separate slots for this purpose:

  • PC Card Interface specifically for handling Linear Flash & SRAM Cards 16-bit, SIEMENS FMC Cards for HICOM®/ HiPath®, ATA Flash Cards, etc.
  • SD Card Interface for direct access to Secure Digital Cards, Secure Digital High Capacity Cards, MultiMediaCards, and SIEMENS Micro Memory Cards for SIMATIC® (system-dependent).

The compact aluminum housing provides optimal protection for the device and card. Power is supplied via the USB connection, alternatively also via a power supply unit.

OmniDrive USB2 LF/SD is based on a flexible, proprietary CSM design, specifically tailored to industrial requirements:

  • High data rate via USB 2.0
  • Extreme functional and data security
  • Long-term availability through proprietary FPGA design and manufacturing
  • Flexibility and investment protection through easy update capability.
